Lawny’s Legacy Foundation was honored to award two scholarships this year to Andrew Bunker and Tate Bender.

Tate has been playing baseball since 8th grade along with several other sports. He was the captain of both the baseball and football team. He attributes being part of a team in aiding him to understand the value of hard work and dedication. He is also an outstanding student with an estimated GPA of 3.6. Tate will be attending Lynn University in the fall and will be continuing his baseball career there.

Andrew is also a multiple-sport athlete and excellent student as well. He was also a captain of both the baseball and football team. Andrew also helped run and coach both youth football and Little League. He attributes his high school baseball career in shaping who he is and preparing him for success in college. Andrew will be attending SUNY Brockport in the fall.

We wish both Tate and Andrew much success in college!
